1.
Where can I operate my SX-2 units.?
The M-4 or SX-2 units were designed to operate in virtually any
leisure setting. Theme Parks, Family Entertainment centers, Arcades,
Shopping Malls and of course, Fairs, Festivals, Air Shows, or any
Catered and Special Events.
2.
Are these ride systems safe?
Safety has been a main design feature and improving on the basic
safe unit is an ongoing requirement. The Standard M-4 unit has computer
diagnostics tests being run while operating which monitor power
supply, panic systems, interior smoke alarms and safety stop systems.
All units are equipped with both interior Panic Stop switches and
exterior operator Abort Stop ability at the computer. New designed
features include higher voltage power systems and larger battery
back-up models. Door Open Stop switches and much improved Passenger
restraint systems are in service and improvements for older M-4s
are available. Simworx LLC has several improved versions of Perimeter
Fencing which meet most safety requirements and ensure a safe operating
environment.
3.
How easy is the SX-2 to operate?
The first M-4 units were designed to be simple and fast to seat
and buckle each rider and then start the ride with one touch on
the monitor/touchscreen. As the M-4 evolved into the M4-SX improvements
were made and faster /easier was the goal. With the Pulldown restraint
system option, the operator needs only to CHECK the rider security
then push a ride choice on the touchscreen. Its almost too simple.
The tough part is pocketing $10 to $14 every 4 to 6 minutes !!
4.
What type of Electric Power is required?
Most M-4's and SX-2 units operate on 110Volts AC current with a
30amp circuit. The SX-Interactive runs on 110 Volts unless installed
in a country using 220 volts/50 hz. With the improved drive systems
used on the SX-Interactive, a 20 Amp power supply is all that is
needed.
For mobile units an optional AC generator (5500watts-single 8500watts-double)
can be used.
5.What
costs would I plan for in addition to the purchase?
General Liability Insurance is required in all states. Most locations
will charge either a flat fee or a percentage for rent. Promotional
advertising (ads, fliers, discounts, web sites, graphics, banners,
extra tv, ) of course will cost as much or little as you care to
invest. Many owners hire employees to actually operate the rides
and offer incentives in addition. A large percentage of owners feel
it necessary to purchase Custom Concession Trailers to have advantages
of Mobile Operations and Static Indoor settings. (Talk to your sales
Representative)
6.
What type of Insurance will I need?
General Liability which covers day to day operation and additional
coverage for trailer/simulator transportation. Typical costs run
between $1500 and $3000 per year for the minimum $1,000,000 coverage.

7.
Are there REALLY NO HYDRAULICS?
YES !! Even though most other simulators use noisy, messy, high-maintenance
hydraulics, the M-4, and SX-2 DO NOT. The SX-Interactive requires
even less maintenance than standard M-4 and SX-2 units. Quiet dependable
electric servo motors are the heart of our units.
8.
Its easy to move, but How easy?
One of our earliest operators recently informed us that even though
he had been to more events than most operators, he had run and moved
and operated his M-4 unit for the past 6 years all by himself. Suggest
at least 2 enjoy moving and operating these money makers.
9.
What about the maintenance issue?
Preventative maintenance is paramount and because so many M-4 and
SX-2 units are in service, Simworx LLC can provide both Technical
and Parts support from the first day forward. Maintenance manuals
are provided with training available on-site as an option. Simworx

10.
OK ! So how much MONEY can I make?
MONEY YOU ASK !! We have designed an entertainment unit thats easy
and fun to operate and in addition can generate up to approx $1900
a day. Of Course all operators are not created equal. The more successful
owners will own many units and have learned from experience (thats
right there is some learning involved) that the BIG BUCKS happen
when a great business is duplicated over and over and over. (here
are some revenue charts we have compiled)
